Coryell Well House was born from a passion for natural wellness and a deep love for our hometown of Gatesville, Texas. I’m Chelcie Latham Ayers—wife, mom, and a proud Gatesville native. After graduating from Gatesville High School in 2009, I earned my degree in Animal Science from Texas Tech University in 2014, specializing in Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies. I spent nearly a decade as a certified therapeutic riding instructor, working with children and adults before stepping back in 2023 to focus on our growing family.
My husband, Doug, and I have been together since high school and married in 2015. We both grew up in Gatesville and now live in Waco on his family’s land, where we raise our two boys—Rhett and Evan—and share life with Doug’s twin sister, Darla, who lives with us. We’re a close-knit family who loves hunting, fishing, ranching, and holding tight to our faith. Doug has worked in construction for 17 years and is with Clark Roofing & Construction in Waco.
Coryell Well House is a family-owned and operated business, and the first of its kind in Central Texas. After slowly transitioning my own family to non-toxic products over the years, I felt called to make clean, natural wellness options more accessible to our community. I started as a vendor selling Rowe Casa Organics in 2023—and now we’re opening our own storefront on August 15.
In addition to offering the full Rowe Casa line, we’re proud to partner with Rustic Strength, a U.S.-based refillery company focused on safe, non-toxic home and body care. We carry a variety of refillable home essentials from Rustic Strength to help reduce waste and support healthier households—without single-use plastics.
I’m not a professional by title—just a mom who wants better for her family, and who saw a need for trustworthy, non-toxic options close to home. I believe we can care for our bodies and our environment with what God has already given us. Every step of this journey has been prayerfully led, and I’m grateful to open our doors right here in the town that shaped me.
We’re proud to offer sustainable refill options and participate in the Close The Loop™ program that helps reduce single-use plastics. Whether you’re just beginning to explore non-toxic living or already committed to a more natural lifestyle, we’re here to walk that path with you.
As for my favorite products? Anything from Rowe Casa—but especially the elderberry syrup and shampoo bars. Those made a big difference in our family’s wellness and were the turning point that sold me on making the switch.
